Some of these institutions have grown and used EPIC Metals systems on multiple projects. As an example, The National Air and Space Museum of the Smithsonian in Washington D.C. opened in 1976 it was expanded with the addition of the companion facility The Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, Virginia which opened in 2003. Although the opening of these two museums was separated by 27 years both buildings had one manufacturer of the roof and floor deck ceiling system in EPIC Metals.
